Hi, I’m Anke

I’m a painter and photographer living on the beautiful West Coast of Canada where I create with gratitude on the traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ people. I enjoy telling stories with words and images and I hope you can find some shared interest in this journey.

SPAC Point of View Challenge, on display April 1–May 30, 2025
at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, BC, Canada

Each fall, the Sidney Camera Club sponsors a competition for their members. From the member-submitted photographs, the Camera Club votes for the top ten qualifiers which are then presented to SPAC members who, in turn, vote for one winning image. SPAC members use the winning photo as inspiration to create their own interpretation of the subject in their chosen medium: painting, pottery, woodworks, fabric, glass, etc.
