About Anke
I’m Anke Weber. I paint in acrylic, watercolour, and gouache, and I’m endlessly curious about new media and techniques. I live on the beautiful West Coast of Canada, where I love to be out and about with my camera. Sometimes my photos inspire my painting, sometimes they stand on their own, and sometimes they are simply for fun. After finishing my master’s in computer science, I worked in software development, marketing, and as a website designer and content creator. I enjoy combining words with images to create illustrated stories full of detail and colour.
