Light Paintings

I’ve been experimenting with light-motion photography. The golden images in the gallery below are the captured shots with very few edits. I only had yellow LED fairy lights, so I played with linear and radial gradients in post-processing. I used colour monochrome in my editing app to colour the different gradients. The single long image, reminded me of a jellyfish, so I rotated and copied it to create a triptych.

I tried multiple exposure but they didn’t work and it started raining. I need to learn more for that. I also think I could have slowed down a bit with my motions. I will for sure try again some time. It was a lot of fun.
