Coming Home

My watercolour painting Coming Home was part of the Point of View Challenge in spring 2025, an annual event organized by the Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC).

Each fall, members of the Sidney Camera Club submit photographs for the challenge and vote to select the top ten. These finalists are then presented to SPAC members, who vote for the winning image. Participating artists create their own interpretations of the selected photograph in a wide range of media, including painting, pottery, woodwork, fabric, glass, and more.

In Spring 2025, the chosen photo was A Long Day’s Work by Danielle Labonté (shown with permission).
